Nostra, one of Irelands leading IT Service Providers, announced today (Monday, 6th of October) that it has signed an agreement with The Office of Public Works (OPW) to take over its ICT support contract for the next few years.
Senior IT Consultant and Co-Founder of Nostra, Gary Byrne, spoke with great enthusiasm about the opportunity for Nostra to be associated with such a reputable state body, and highlighted the excitement in Nostra at the prospect of working closely with the OPW into the future.

The deal includes ten full time engineering resources allocated to the OPW. This is an area of expertise for Nostra who have provided full time engineers to large organisations such as Dawn Farm Foods, Avolon Aerospace, and ISS Facility Services for a number of years.
The contract does not represent the first venture into IT Support for semi-state and state bodies for Nostra, Having provided IT support for the likes of Bord Iascaigh Mhara for a number of years, and having recently taken over the support contract for the Office of the Secretary General to the President.
The OPW operates in a large diaspora of locations throughout Ireland, which only serves to heighten the importance of Nostra’s nationwide coverage and market leading priority response times, something in which they have a proven track record.
