The NOSTRA programme is designed to allow a participant to achieve a qualification in Theology at their own pace. The participant completes a number of modules leading to a Certificate in Theology & Religious Studies. On completion of this certificate they can set their sights on a Higher certificate in Theology & Religious Studies.

The Mid-West region is in the extraordinary position of having a great deal of expertise in the area of theology and Limerick is quite unique in that the city and environs has an abundance of talent available in this area. NOSTRA brings together much of the finest theological resources and talent in the region as the various centres provide and host various modules.
NOSTRA students are fortunate to be able to avail of the resources of the teaching staff at Mary immaculate College and affiliates.
